Saturday morning: up for a run then a quick swim. We all went into town with various errands to run and then met at the park downtown to check out the art walk. We let the kids play at the park for a while before going back to the cabin for lunch. After lunch we waited out some thunderstorms and then hit the lake as soon as the sun came back out.
We swam and floated and snorkled. Alex and I canoed around the island. In the little lake we saw the loon family and the younger eagle.
After dinner I promised to take the kids fishing. Alex and I went to the Muskie shop to get bait. That is a fun place for kids to look around! I took each kid individually to avoid them catching each other. Maya went first and had no luck but she seemed to enjoy it. Alex caught a couple decent size pan fish and had a great time. Finally the mosquitos just got too bad and we had to come up to the house.
