Friday looked to be a beautiful day. We started with a bike ride into town. Just after Agawak Rd a black bear cub walked out of the woods and casually lumbered across the road. It was pretty cool for the kids to see. Alex doesn't remember all the bears in Houghton.
We had fun in town, ran some errands and biked back.
Alex went down and played with all the neighbor kids while Maya and I ran and got groceries for dinner.
Home in time to go play in the water on a warm afternoon. Mom's friend that had given us a pontoon boat ride earlier in our trip called and offered again. Alex and Maya were very excited!
After we had nachos and strawberry shortcake for Mom's birthday since she had been gone the day before.
