Saturday morning Karrie and I snuck away to Appleton to check out some bead shops. This place is amazing - The Glass Onion One of the best bead shops I've been in. The boys went back to the park to play and get in some more frisbee golf.
In the afternoon we headed back to Green Bay so we could meet Doug, Joy and Maddie for dinner and a visit. We wanted to check out the new hibachi style restaurant and thought the kids would think that was fun. Alex wasn't sure about the chef banging the spatulas on the grill, too loud! But he thought all the fire was pretty cool, especially the onion/soy sauce volcano! Maddie didn't mind the loud noise but wasn't crazy about the fire! Both of them however were pretty crazy about the shrimp! We were seated at a table with one of the Green Bay Packer players (Nick Barnett) and his date. I'm sure they were thrilled to have two families with young children seated with them!
The restaurant was very good, good food and service and decorated very nicely. They even have heated toilet seats and the inside of the bowl glows blue. Really. Bizarre, eh?
I will have to bug Joy and see if she got any good pictures of Maddie and Alex playing. They were kissing eachother again but of course would stop as soon as we got a camera out! They are getting married you know, Maddie has already drawn a picture of their wedding day.
Joy took a belly picture for me, so here it is for all of you curious about how enormous I am getting....
