After being postponed due to the weather, the Clintonville fireworks were thursday night. Karrie's cousin Michelle and her little boy Logan came along. Logan and Alex are pretty close in age so they had tons of fun getting all wound up and staying up wayyyy past their bedtimes together!
We weren't sure how Alex was going to like the fireworks as he is not a big fan of loud noises. He got very nervous when they started, he had to snuggle on my lap and his whole little body was tensed up. I helped him cover his ears and rocked him back and forth a bit....after a while I could feel some of the tension leave his body, when I looked down he was ASLEEP! He woke up during the grand finale and announced that he loved the firworks and thought they were cool.
