Wednesday late morning we headed north! We went to Rhinelander first to see Grandma Ruth and Aunt Lori (they live right near eachother on connected lakes). On the first part of the trip Alex counted silos and was really interested in the giant agricultural sprinklers - things we don't have too many of at home!
Grandma Ruth has bluegills and sunfish that live by her dock that think they are pirrhanas...really. They have been known to eat fisherman's fish right off the stringer if it's left unattended. We prefer to feed them scraps of bread. I think we will swim by Aunt Lori's dock if we want to swim in Rhinelander this visit.
It was wonderfully COOL there! Like 20 degrees cooler.
