We biked at the Escanaba Lake trail and the lake there had the most amazing tadpoles. They were huge and there were hundreds of them all along the shore. They were all in different stages of development, some with no legs yet, some with only back legs and some starting front legs too. We saw a few good size frogs but I bet there must have been some enormous ones hiding out there based on the size of the tadpoles!
