More cabin fun.....

We did all the regular cabin stuff once Alex was feeling better. We swam, we biked into Minocqua for ice cream, Ben and I got to go mountain biking, Alex rode his bike on the Bearskin trail, Ben and I got to go kayaking.
We even went out on saturday the 5th with Matt and Amy. Downtown Minocqua is always interesting in the summer but holiday weekends are usually extra special people watching. It wasn't as crowded as we expected but still fun. We went to Otto's first, they usually have decent live music in their courtyard. The, um, "dancing" that night was especially interesting. We ended up across the street listening to some band from Madison that I struggle to describe. They had a wooden cut-out, hand painted Egyptian sarcophygus complete with glitter and also the head and torso of a manequin with it's own emisis basin up on stage with them. The music was sort of punk. It was definately entertaining though. Then there was a drug bust. All in all a lively evening out.
We still have a few things we want to do this next week that we didn't get to but we had a lot of fun already!
