Gallagher's Pumpkin patch/farm market

Last week we met some friends at Gallagher's pumpkin patch, farm and farm market. They have amazing pumpkin donuts! And the usual corn maze. And chickens to chase. The big kids had lots of fun. Maya liked the pumpkin donuts!

Last weekend we did a little hiking down the road at the Mayfield Pond. It's a great park with stream, pond, water fall, bridges, nature trail and playground!

Interlochen State Park

A couple weeks ago on our way home from the farm we stopped at Interlochen State Park. Since the weather was less than stellar we were the only ones there!

I think this was almost 3 weeks ago already

But we went to the pumpkin patch with some friends. We did the whole sha-bang - corn maze, hayride and playing on the hay in the barn. And got a pumpkin of course.

Last saturday morning Maya was sleeping, Ben was relaxing on the couch, the basement was kind of dark and Alex was messing around trying to "hide" in his little couch....I was in the office and noticed it had been awfully quiet for a while. When I came out this is what I found:
