So neglected.....

I'm sitting home on a sunny day with a yard full of fresh sparkling snow....with a head cold that is leaving me with no energy.  And I find myself looking fondly at pictures of spring and summer.  And I realized it was last spring since I updated this site.  It's been a running memory of all of Maya's life and most of Alex's, it seems a shame to have it just stop.
So here we go all the way back to last May, after having endured such a strange winter that didn't start until January but then lingered stubbornly well into April....
Maya made her own bow and arrows from sticks in the yard:  (we still have it!)

Memorial Day weekend we visited Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat'l Lakeshore and then I went 2 more times in the coming weeks.  Once with Alex's class and then the next day with Maya's.
