Alex has the GPS ready!
Let's go THIS way!

Yesterday we had our "feast" at lunch time. Everything turned out great, Alex's favorites were the stuffing, the turkey and the pumpkin pie! He also ate mashed potatos and tried some apple pie with cool whip but we didn't get quite the reaction with those. After lunch we all took a nice family nap! When we got up it was so nice outside we decided we needed to go for a hike somewhere. We've been talking about going Geocaching for a while now so we found some spots near us where there wouldn't be any hunters and gave one a try. We got to the correct co-ordinates but couldn't find the cache...since it was our first try we didn't know if we were just really bad hunters or if there was something wrong.
We headed home for leftovers and football and legos! Alex is quite the lego-maniac, we all have fun building together.
Today was gorgeous weather so while others hunted deer or hunted for bargains we decided to try again at geocaching. We picked another safe spot and the outdoor pictures above are from today's hunt. We hiked here back in June with my parents and there were some people kayaking on the river. Alex ran right up to the water this time and wanted to know where the boats were! We can't believe he remembers that!
Today we were successful! We found our first cache. It was really fun, there are tons of these hidden right near our house so we have plenty more places to explore!
Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
